Pam Wall, Executive Director
Pam was hired as the first executive director in March of 2000. She has 27 years management, development, marketing and public relations experience in non-profit organizations. Before relocating to the Research Triangle, Pam served as the executive director of the Asheville-Buncombe VISION, an organization founded to implement that region's community-based strategic plan. Pam was a facilitator for UNC's Leadership Asheville and supervised the staff of "Let's Talk! Dialogues For Our Future." Previously she served as the Public Relations Director of the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, was President of P.J.Cole, Inc. and a marketing executive with Denny Gordon & Associates, both Florida marketing firms. She has also worked as Assistant Director for the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, St. Louis, Missouri, and in public policy development with the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, and as public relations director of the Webster Groves Police Department.
The Missouri native holds a BA in sociology and psychology from Central Methodist College in Fayette, and an MA in urban affairs with honors from St. Louis University.
A member of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Community Success Forum Task Force, she has also served on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Western North Carolina and Keep Lee County Beautiful in Florida. Pam also served on the Human Relations Committee for then Missouri Governor Christopher "Kit" Bond.
Pam is married and has one daughter in graduate school.
